Future plans
Our plan is to increase the compost production of the existing site and also set up new sites, thus proportionally reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Potential new sites are in the planning process in the area of Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth. Our long term target is to roll out our formula throughout other African countries. Currently, the setting up of a Soil & More Academy is also being discussed. The goal is to establish an educational facility where knowledge, expertise and training can be passed on, thus also providing (native) people with a good education and therefore good job opportunities.

Background Information: local and global impact
Some of the biggest environmental problems South Africa has to face are the lack of fertile land, soil degradation, and pollution of its rivers and ground water. One of the main factors causing these problems is the excessive use of chemical fertilizers, as well as pest and disease control agents. They pollute ground water and rivers, thus causing an excessive growth of alien vegetation which not only harms the rivers natural ecosystem, but also threatens the natural habitat of the rivers’ (wild) life.
